What is Amber Alert?

The Amber alert function is a game-changing, timer-based safety feature designed to boost the security of lone workers in high-risk "code yellow" scenarios. If a worker is incapacitated and can't press the SOS button, the TWIG SOS cycle kicks in automatically.

Why Amber Alert?

Imagine working in enclosed spaces like containers, underground facilities, or other areas with poor or no GSM signal. Standard communication might fail here, but Amber alert steps in, automatically initiating an emergency response when needed. This ensures help arrives even when traditional channels are down.

Amber Alert in Action

Construction Sites: From falls to equipment malfunctions, Amber alert ensures rapid response, minimizing injury risks.

Maintenance Work: Whether at heights or with heavy machinery, Amber alert detects any lack of movement and triggers emergency responses.

Cleaning Services: Lone cleaners in large buildings or after hours benefit from Amber alert, which provides immediate help if they encounter hazards.

Security Guards: Working alone at night or in remote areas, security guards get an essential safety net with Amber alert. It triggers an alert to the ARC if they're attacked or fall ill, ensuring prompt assistance.

How Does Amber Alert Work?

The Amber alert provides an automated check-in system that initiates an emergency response if a worker fails to reactivate the alert. This is particularly useful in situations where mobile network coverage might be compromised. The Amber alert can be both local and server-based, allowing it to trigger alarms at the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) even when mobile coverage is lost.

Enhance Lone Worker Safety with TWIG Amber Alert

Key Features of TWIG Amber Alert

Interactive Amber Alert

The interactive Amber alert, also known as the server-based alert, requires integration with the ARC system. This ensures that the lone worker's safety is continuously monitored, and any loss of mobile coverage does not hinder the emergency response.

Activation and Deactivation

Amber alert can be activated or deactivated by calling or sending an SMS to a designated phone number, providing flexibility and ease of use.

Amber Alert Key

The Amber alert key, marked with a timer symbol and highlighted in yellow, makes it easy for workers to identify and use during "code yellow" scenarios.

Local Timer Synchronization

The TWIG device features a local timer synchronized with the ARC timer, providing pre-alarm notifications to the user. This ensures that the user is informed when it is time to reactivate or deactivate the Amber alert.

Pre-Alarm Functionality

As the countdown timer approaches zero, the TWIG device will send pre-alarm notifications, and if no action is taken, it will automatically trigger an emergency alert and send messages to pre-configured contacts.

Configurable UI Keys

The SEND and END keys on the TWIG lone worker alarm devices can be configured for Amber alert, ensuring that this critical function is easily accessible.
