TWIG accessories have been updated with new carrying cases and Ex chargers
New carrying case now available also for TWIG Protector Pro Ex
TWIG accessories have been updated with new carrying cases and Ex chargers since 1st of January 2019. The actual carrying case for Protector series is replaced with a new model especially designed for TWIG Protector Pro device. TWIG Protector Pro Ex has finally its own carrying case, also available since 1st of January. Also a new car charger is available for TWIG Ex personal alarm devices.
Ex IIC carrying cases
The new Ex IIC carrying case for TWIG Protector Pro Ex is now for sale with the product code APX. View details on product site.
The actual Ex IIC carrying case for TWIG Protector Ex is equally available with its familiar product code APE. Details about the carrying case for TWIG Protector Ex can be found on corresponding product site.
Both TWIG Ex personal alarms are designed for application in areas with an increased risk of explosion in accordance with directive 1999/92/EC (ATEX 137) and 2014/34/EU. With TWIG Ex TUP92EU devices it is allowed to use only approved TWIG Ex accessories. The maximal usage temperature for TWIG Ex personal alarm devices is +40°C. Only Ex approved carrying case can be used inside Ex area not to deteriorate the device surface.
Other carrying cases for Protector series
The actual carrying case for Protector series has been updated with a new model designed especially for TWIG Protector Pro device. For the new model the product code (APC) remains the same.
The new Protector series carrying case can be used also with TWIG Protector, TWIG Protector EasyS and TWIG Protector EasyP. Despite their compatibility, also a new carrying case, better enabling the pushing of the SOS key, is now for sale with a new product code APP. New Ex chargers
TWIG Ex chager of device type FME92EU for sale with product codes ACE-E, ACE-A, ACE-U has been modified with a new mains charger connected to TWIG Ex USB cable (product code ACO). The TWIG Ex USB cable also allows programming of TWIG Ex devices of device type TUP92EU.
TWIG Ex devices can now be charged also in car with a new Ex car charger. The new Ex car charger is for sale with product code ACD. More information on product site.
The device battery must not be charged below °0 or above +45 °C. It is recommended to use the new TWIG Ex charger ACE also with TWIG Protector Ex devices of earlier device types TCP90EU and TGP81EU to improve their secure use.
